The Tokyo Metropolitan Government held a meeting of the countermeasures headquarters for the new coronavirus on the night of the 28th, and decided on measures to be taken under the state of emergency that will be re-extended from the 1st to the 20th of next month.

As a result, requests for closure of large-scale facilities with a total floor area of more than 1000 square meters will be eased.

Specifically, large commercial facilities such as department stores, which are closed except for the sales floor for daily necessities, request only Saturdays and Sundays, and request shortening of business hours until 8:00 pm on weekdays.

For movie theaters and museums, we will switch from the previous request for closure to a shorter time request until 9 pm, and request that the number of people be 5000 or less and 50% or less of the capacity.

On the other hand, restaurants will continue to request closures for stores that provide alcohol and karaoke facilities, and shorten the time until 8:00 pm for stores that do not provide alcohol and karaoke facilities.

The capital will provide cooperation money to businesses that fully respond to these requests.

Of this, 200,000 yen per 1,000 square meters per day for holiday requests for large commercial facilities, etc., and 20,000 yen per 100 square meters per day for tenants.

In addition, we will also provide cooperation money to facilities that respond to requests for shorter working hours, depending on the shortened time.

In addition, the cooperation fee for restaurants is the same as before, from 40,000 yen to a maximum of 200,000 yen per day for each store.

On the other hand, we continue to request the citizens of Tokyo to refrain from going out unnecessarily and urgently, and urge them to refrain from moving across the border between the city and the prefecture.
