  China Earthquake Networks officially determined that a magnitude 4.1 earthquake occurred in Yangbi County (25.74 degrees north latitude, 99.95 degrees east longitude) in Dali Prefecture, Yunnan Province at 19:52 on the 27th, with a focal depth of 12 kilometers.

Since the 18th, many earthquakes have occurred in Yangbi County, with the highest magnitude being the magnitude 6.4 earthquake that occurred on May 21.

  The Transportation Bureau of Yangbi County stated that after an on-site inspection after the occurrence of a magnitude 4.1 earthquake on the 27th, it was found that the expansion joints at both ends of the bridge body of the Hexi Bridge were significantly displaced, and the original cracks on both sides of the bridge body were further enlarged, posing safety hazards.

  In order to ensure the safety of people’s lives, the current traffic management department has imposed controls on the Hexi Bridge, temporarily banning pedestrians and vehicles from passing.
