[Look at China along the highway] The "Cultural Fan" of Dunhuang Toll Station: Han and Tang style gate-style gates

Located at the entrance of a high-speed toll gate in Dunhuang, Gansu, the vermilion "Shazhou" inscription, the green-brown rubble and the gate-like toll gate have attracted the attention of tourists who drive by.

The toll station is part of the Liudun (Liuyuan-Dunhuang) Expressway Project. According to Du Xiaoping, the chief engineer of the project, the Liudun Expressway was designed with the Dunhuang Han and Tang dynasty architectural styles at the beginning of the design. Tourists will meet on the way from Liuyuan to Dunhuang Expressway. The gradual discovery is a gradual transition from the modern style to the architectural style of Han and Tang Dynasties. The section of the road from the service area to the toll station will reflect the historical and cultural heritage of Dunhuang.

It is understood that Dunhuang was called "Shazhou" in ancient times, and it was an important town on the ancient Silk Road. The G215 Liuyuan-Dunhuang Expressway is an important project in the Gansu section of the "Belt and Road", and is a fast track connecting the "Great Dunhuang Cultural Tourism Circle".
