Michèle Lituac was for ten years the voice of Phoebe, one of the six characters of "Friends".

Invited Thursday from Europe 1, she says her emotion to resume service, on the occasion of the special episode broadcast, 17 years after the end of the series, Wednesday evening on HBO, pure dubbing a character who necessarily marked her life.

, played by Lisa Kudrow. After 17 years of absence, the character and his five acolytes have returned to service on the occasion of a special episode eagerly awaited by fans and broadcast Wednesday night on HBO and Friday morning on Salto. Michèle Lituac will therefore resume service to overtake Pheobe, whom she finds with emotion. "For me, it's really a meeting. There is something in this character that I have in me", explains the actress on Europe 1. "It is the character that marked me the most, from any that I have been able to interpret, whether doubling or playing. "

Michèle Lituac inevitably identified with Phoebe.

"She's crazy. I think she probably must be too," she laughs.

"You have to have this madness which is very particular anyway. She's a character that you don't meet every day. And Lisa Kudrow is exceptional on that. So it's a great chance that I had the opportunity to double this role, which marked and which still marks. "

The success of the series was colossal, with up to 5 million viewers every day on France 2. And this role inevitably followed the actress, now based in Quebec.

"You can't say that it opened doors for me, but it's true that I've already been hired several times for things where I was asked to have the voice of Phoebe, in pubs in particular", says Michèle Lituac.
