The Swedish Psychological Association believes that it is misleading and a sign of deep ignorance that Swedish radio retains its name despite the fact that it no longer has a participating psychologist.
The association has now contacted Swedish Radio with the point of view. Ullakarin Nyberg tells Psykologtidningen that she understands the psychologists who are a professional group she has great respect for and hopes that Swedish Radio will take up the issue for discussion.
She mostly sees the program's name as a title for an established program and does not think it should change to "Radio Psychiatrist".
