Collaboration and unity, two basic qualities

During the event,

, director of the Unidad Editorial Health Area, thanked all health workers for the role they have played during the pandemic and pointed out that these awards "represent the work of large groups of professionals" who have I work together and in collaboration in the face of an "unprecedented" threat, and without which it "would not have been possible" to combat it.

"When the pandemic arrived, we realized the importance of

working together

; putting aside the chains and corsets imposed by the professions and rolling up our sleeves together to overcome this situation," said Corral.

Ruiz Escudero

, who has also participated in the event, stressed that these awards "seek to publicly recognize" the essential work that the entire sector has been doing throughout this health crisis. In his opinion, if the role of health workers is essential in itself, "it has been evidenced much more clearly and much more evident in these months of the health pandemic."

In addition, he wanted to highlight that this work has been carried out, on many occasions, in

"extremely harsh" conditions

and in which, despite adversity, professionals have given their best. "You all have a leading role today, those present here and all your colleagues. You have succeeded in transforming the system and

adapting

to the required needs, and this

ability to adapt

has been one of the lessons learned for us. leaving this health crisis ", he stressed.

In words of gratitude to Diario Médico and Correo Farmacéutico for their informative role as a specialized press, Ruiz Escudero has stressed the "commitment" of these publications "to verified and truthful information" based on "rigor".

Health professionals, the great pillar of support

Also Minister Darías, before concluding the meeting, wanted to express the appreciation of the Executive for all that work carried out in the last 15 months against SARS-CoV-2 and has defended that health workers are

"the backbone"

of the challenge to facing the country to end the pandemic.

Along with this, the minister has indicated that in this pandemic "we enter without navigation charts" and that the toilets have been an

"essential ecosystem"

that has always been watching over the health of the population.

"Thank you for that strength during this difficult time, in the worst conditions you have been there. Thank you for feeling proud of what you represent as a country. [...]

Thank you for the work done

. My recognition. Courage and strength to continue working and overcoming the challenge that lies ahead together, "concluded Darias.
