On the 24th, Zhu Keming was interviewed by a reporter from Chinanews.com on the "rescue road", saying that on the day of the start of the 22nd, he happened to go up the mountain to see the sheep.

Unexpectedly, the weather suddenly changed and he was trapped on the top of the mountain.

"We dare not go up easily." Some local villagers said bluntly.

After nearly two hours of climbing the intestine trail and steep slopes, the reporter and Zhu Keming arrived in front of the cave where he saved his life, which is 2,200 meters above sea level and is located halfway through the CP2 to CP3 stages of the event.

This stage is also the concentrated area where contestants died.

Zhu Keming said that his clothes were also drenched in the rain at the time and it was very cold. As he got into the cave and covered the quilt, he heard a sound.

Zhu Keming walked out of the cave and took a slowly walking team member to the cave and wrapped him in a quilt.

When the China News Network reporter rushed to Zhu Keming's home, he and his family were working in the farmland.

On that day, Zhu Keming saved a total of 6 people from all over the country.

Zhang Xiaotao was one of them, and he was also the only survivor among the top players on the track that day.

When chatting with Zhu Keming, the reporter learned that Zhang Xiaotao had returned to Henan safely and was reunited with his family.

The other party said, "Without you, there would be no future for me." Zhu Keming said the most is "It's okay, just get home safely."

Zhu Keming told reporters from Chinanews.com that when the villagers heard the call for help, almost all the young and middle-aged people in the village were dispatched, wearing clothing and quilts, from this steep cliff to the top of the mountain in the fastest time for rescue.

"The best thing is our villagers."

Zhu Keming told reporters that using his kindness to help others does not need to be repaid. Seeing that they were successfully rescued, he was grateful and comforted in his heart, "But I regret that I don't have much ability to save more team members below. "

  Zhu Keming, 49, lives a "semi-agricultural and half-pastoralist" life.

More than 40 sheep and more than 10 acres of land are the source of his family's livelihood, including supporting 4 children to school.

During the interview, he didn't want to mention more about the family, and he didn't want his peaceful life to be disturbed.

During the conversation with reporters, Zhu Keming only pointed out that he hopes that the government can help the villagers to improve the traffic conditions. “The two children living in school have difficulty going to school. They need to take a car ride back and forth every week, which costs more than 100 yuan.” There are about five middle schools away from here. Sixty kilometers, it takes more than an hour for the child to return home.
