The new host is Ullakarin Nyberg, 61, who is a chief physician on a daily basis and works at Norra Stockholm's psychiatry to prevent suicide.
She began her career as a oncologist before discovering that she was more interested in people's inner lives.
“People affect me.
Helping them find their own resources through conversations is my driving force.
And that rhymes well with my role in 'The Radio Psychologist' ", she says in a press release.
Nyberg's debut program will be broadcast on 10 September.
She takes over from Lasse Övling, whose last program will be broadcast on 17 June.
