Nara Prefecture and Nara City announced on the 25th that it was confirmed that 28 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
The prefecture also announced that a total of two women in their 80s and 90s who had been confirmed and treated for the infection had died.
Infection was confirmed in 7645 people in the prefecture, and 108 people died.
