Under the slogan "The Future Starts Now", the Abu Dhabi Festival announced the launch of the second edition of the International Oud Forum, which includes seven episodes in a television structure, broadcast through the digital platforms of the Abu Dhabi Festival, with the participation of 27 oud artists from 14 countries to perform many Pieces composed and varied specially for the Oud.

The International Oud Forum, which brings together a distinguished elite of Arab oud players, extends over the period from May 25 to June 15, providing special insights from academics with experience in the field of music and arts, the history and development of the oud instrument, and how the instrument is integrated into the digital industry. And the music scene today, in addition to rich reports on six distinguished oud makers from different parts of the Arab world, with visits to their workshops, to reveal to us the secrets of their industry.
