Mutant virus New infection confirmed 283 people

In Tokyo, a virus with a highly infectious "N501Y" mutation and a virus with a "L452R" mutation found in India confirmed that about 83% of 283 people were newly infected.

Five of the 283 people were found to be infected with a virus with the "L452R" mutation.

All are men, one in their thirties and four in their forties.

Two of the five are still hospitalized but not seriously ill, and the remaining three have already been treated.

All five are close contacts who live in the same place as those who were found to be infected with the new coronavirus after returning from South Asia, and the health center believes that the infection has spread wherever they live.

For this reason, the city is said to be the first cluster of this mutant virus found in Tokyo.

In addition to 5 people, nearly 10 people living in the same place have been positively tested for the new coronavirus, but the virus has a mutation of "L452R" because it has already recovered or there are no samples left. It is not possible to confirm whether or not you are infected with.

With this, a total of 18 people have been confirmed to be infected with a virus with the "L452R" mutation in Tokyo.
