What procedures should visitors to the Abu Dhabi Book Fair follow?

The 30th edition of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, which kicked off on Sunday at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center, and organized by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center at the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi, represents the first hybrid edition of the exhibition that combines real and virtual activities.

The exhibition is witnessing strict precautionary measures to provide a safe environment to receive book and culture lovers. All visitors and participants must show a negative result of the PCR examination, in addition to applying social distancing standards throughout the exhibition.

Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) provided thermal scanners and advanced sterilization procedures according to the highest level of technologies adopted in this context.

A Covid-19 examination center was also provided on site.  

All visitors to the exhibition must pre-register to obtain an electronic access card, as registration can be made through the exhibition website www.adbookfair.com, or through the online application available on the Apple and Google Play stores.

The Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, which opens its doors to visitors from 9 am to 10 pm from Sunday to Saturday, and from 4 pm to 10 pm on Friday, is witnessing the participation of more than 800 exhibitors representing more than 46 countries, as well as providing half a million books during the exhibition.
