According to Zhang Zhong, the head teacher of the 228 class at Yangbi No. 1 Middle School, the open-air classroom was fully put into use on the afternoon of the 22nd.

"At present, all senior high school students have entered a normal review state."

Speaking of the impact of the earthquake disaster on the students, Zhang Zhong said, “After the magnitude 6.4 earthquake, the students were indeed frightened to varying degrees. After the teachers’ comfort and encouragement, their emotions gradually calmed down.”

Zhang Zhong is a little worried about the effect of outdoor teaching. A good learning atmosphere is very necessary for senior high school students. The current conditions may have a certain degree of influence on the learning effect.

After the earthquake, the teachers worked in an orderly manner and implemented a shift system, with two teachers on duty in the morning and afternoon in each class.

The normal teaching time is from 7 am to 10:40 pm.

At 8:30 in the morning, Zhou Yanli, a third language teacher in Yangbi No. 1 Middle School, began to explain the Chinese test papers to the students in the third grade in accordance with the teaching arrangements. The teaching activities of Yangbi No. 1 Middle School were carried out in an intense and orderly manner.

"The current students' mentality is relatively optimistic." Zhou Yanli said that since Yangbi County entered the "vibration mode" on May 18, the high school students' studies have not been interrupted.

Li Min, a student in Class 221 of Senior Three, said frankly that as the college entrance examination is approaching, his state is becoming more and more tense, and the occurrence of the earthquake does have an impact on his learning state.

"But we will still settle down and actively participate in the review. The teacher's constant companionship has also given us a lot of encouragement."

"The college entrance examination is about to take place in 15 days. I believe that our junior high school students from Yangbi No. 1 Middle School can work hard to review and prepare for the exam even under the earthquake disaster. I am very confident in their college entrance examination!" Zhang Zhong said.

Dai Jiewen, deputy county magistrate of Yangbi County, stated that under the premise of ensuring safety, we should do a good job of reviewing and preparing for the third grades of high school and junior high school through outdoor time-based, subject-by-subject, and group counseling, and strive to achieve both earthquake resistance and disaster reduction and education , Make the same mistake, do a good job of psychological counseling for teachers and students, and minimize the impact of the earthquake on the third grade students of high school.
