A spokesman for "Netflix" told "AFP": "We have constantly worked to expand our offerings from series to documentaries, films and original series in local languages ​​and reality TV programs."

Netflix CEO Red Hastings has repeatedly emphasized that the company's main competitors are not just other broadcasters such as HBO, Hulu and Disney +, but they include a variety of other online and mobile entertainment platforms.

"We are competing on a very large scale ... We are competing with TikTok, YouTube and HBO in addition to Fortnite," Hastings told analysts last October, while presenting the company's quarterly earnings.
