According to Gojo City, on the 18th, a mass vaccination was given to 80 elderly people aged 65 and over at a facility in the city.



At the venue, two doctors belonging to the local medical association were inoculated, but one of them accidentally used a used syringe.



The used syringe was originally supposed to be placed on the blue tray without the cap that was attached before use, but the doctor put the cap back on the tray to prevent injury to the person who cleans it up. about it.



When the doctor stabbed the needle of the syringe into the elderly and pushed out the vaccine, he felt uncomfortable, so when he checked the number of used syringes and the number of pre-examination slips for the inoculated person, he mistakenly found that there was one less syringe. It turned out that it was reused.



It is said that there is no abnormality in the physical condition of the inoculated elderly people, but the city will continue to follow up, such as testing for infectious diseases.
