“On May 15 we saw off to the Skopje Zoo ... six Humboldt penguins.

This is the offspring of the last two years.

They are already old enough to create their own pairings.

There they will meet with a group of penguins from Italy and - hopefully - will become the basis of a new population, ”the Moscow Zoo said on Instagram.

It is noted that these are the first penguins in the Skopje Zoo.

The capital's zoo expressed confidence that "Rooney, Runa, Jinsya, Napa, Mufa and Umi will settle down in a distant country, successfully meet Italians and become fathers / mothers of the Macedonian penguin population."

Earlier it was reported that chicks of curly pelicans were born in the Moscow Zoo
