  Rui Guo was entrusted at the beginning of the Zhou Dynasty, and went through the Western Zhou Dynasty, the early Spring and Autumn Period, and was later annihilated by the Qin in the vassal struggle for hegemony.

However, the few records and scattered bronze wares in history books have obliterated Rui Guo in the depths of history, and have been covered in dust for thousands of years.

  In 2004, the "Rui" inscription bronze unearthed at the Hengshui Waguo Cemetery in Jiangxian County, Shanxi, made Rui’s blank mid-Western Zhou history showing the tip of the iceberg; in 2005, at the Liangdai Village site in Hancheng, Shaanxi, tens of thousands of Rui’s relics The emptiness made Rui Guo return to the public eye; in 2018, the discovery of the Liujiawa site in Chengcheng, Shaanxi reproduced the glory of the late Rui Guo.

  As the exhibits of this exhibition, five "Rui" inscription bronzes unearthed at the Hengshui Cemetery in Jiangxian County, Yuncheng, Shanxi, reveal a history of the marriage between Rui Guo and Lai Guo. The unearthed bronzes filled the historical gap of Rui Guo in the middle of the Western Zhou Dynasty. .

  In the early Spring and Autumn Period, Rui Bowan, the ruler of Rui Guo, fled and took refuge in today's Ruicheng, Shanxi.

Later, Rui Guo also participated in the struggle between the big and small clans in Jin.

After a lapse of thousands of years, these historical materials and objects of "Shanxi" elements have reunited with the ruins of Rui Guo that came across the river, making Rui Guo more complete.

  The exhibition is divided into five units. "Revealing the Secret of Rui Guo" combs the history of Rui Guo's development with documents and objects.

The second to fifth units are divided into four parts according to their texture and function: "Arms to Tibetan Ceremony", "Zhong Qing Heming", "Golden Jade Resplendent" and "Golden Ge Iron Horse", recreating the elegance and glory of Rui Guo.

  In the exhibition, "Rui Gong" Ding and "Rui Prince" are one of the strong evidences to determine that this place is the capital of Rui Guo.

The musical instruments unearthed in Liujiawa are of great significance in the history of Chinese music archaeology. For example, the mountain-shaped chime was discovered for the first time, and the unearthed zheng is one of the earliest objects of zheng found so far.

The golden scepter head is the only gold scepter head discovered so far. Among the weapons, the iron-edged sword with copper handle is a rare example of early Chinese iron.
