, Hoshi sent in December 2019 a strong message to the attention of the Manif pour tous, opposed to the legalization of marriage between people of the same sex. But this title against homophobia was not addressed only to this organization, as explained by the singer at the microphone of Anne Roumanoff and her band on Monday, world day against homophobia, transphobia and biphobia, in the show

. "This title was born because I was attacked twice, when I was young, in my small town in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines", remembers Hoshi. "I got busted on the floor twice."

And the young singer to give more details on these two attacks.

"First by a girl from my college who thought I looked lesbian," continues the artist.

"And the second time by a friend of hers who left me for dead outside my grandmother's house."

After this second lesbophobic assault, Hoshi filed a complaint.

"But she had a reminder of the law. So it was useless," she regrets.

"And besides, I ran into her every day."

"Death threats" after the Victories

These two physical assaults, the artist has them in mind when she sees the Demonstration for All walking in the street once again in 2019. "At one point, I told myself that I was not going to start fighting every time. time that I meet people who don't want me, and that I was going to do it in music, ”she specifies.

But the lesbophobic hatred received by Hoshi did not end there.

She continued in February 2020, after her stint at the Victoires de la musique.

"I kissed a dancer at the end of my performance and I received thousands of death threats," she says.

"Suddenly, I deferred complaint. It's the story of my life."

But Hoshi has also received other feedback on his music that balm his heart. "I have messages that tell me 'Thank you for saving my life', young people who were able to come out thanks to my songs," she says.
