The Eurovision Song Contest will travel even further.

The concept of the show will be adapted in the United States, starting next year.

It will bring together more than fifty artist-candidates competing for the title of best song, from the USA, but not only.

Eurovision will cross the Atlantic.

The international singing competition, which is already stretching as far as Australia, is coming to the United States.

But if the Oceanian island is among the candidates for the current version of Eurovision, it will not be the same for the United States.

The country will launch, in the spring or summer of 2022, its own version of the competition.

This adaptation of the format of the international show will be broadcast on NBC.

More than fifty candidates

The American version of the competition will bring together artists representing all states, 50 in total, as well as those from the associated territories of the country.

That is to say more than fifty artists in the running.

It is the organizer of Eurovision, the European Broadcasting Union (TER), which made the announcement of this new television singing competition this weekend.

The final of the 2021 edition of the mother show, Eurovision, will be held on May 22 in Rotterdam.
