In the early morning of May 15, heavy rain hit Dazhu County, Dazhou, Sichuan. Some people were besieged by the flood. Fire emergency dispatched to rescue and transfer the trapped people.
At about 0:50 on the 15th, more than 10 villagers in the 9th group of Zhuyang Village, Zhuyang Town, Dazhu County, Dazhou were besieged by floods.
After receiving the police, the Dazhu County Fire Rescue Brigade sent 18 firefighters to the scene for rescue.
The heavy rain at the scene caused floods, and the water depth on the low-lying street exceeded 1.5 meters. Floods continued to flow in on the first floor of the houses, and many villagers were trapped inside the houses.
Due to the rush of the flood and the complicated terrain, rescuers used kayaks to ascertain the water regime and waterway, and 6 firefighters wore life jackets for rescue.
After an intense rescue, rescuers evacuated and transferred 9 trapped persons to a safe area in three batches.
At 1:36 on the 15th, people in Tiansheng Village, Jingtusi, Dazhu County, were besieged by the flood. 5 firefighters rushed to the scene and evacuated 15 people successively without casualties.
