Dong Mingpei, deputy director of the Anhui Provincial Health Commission and director of the Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, said that as of 12 noon on the 16th, nucleic acid samples had been sampled by 1,046,372 in Lu'an City, and 966,622 had been obtained, except for the confirmed cases and asymptomatic infections reported above. Except for those cases, the others were all negative; 169,855 nucleic acid samples were sampled in Hefei, and 169,781 had been obtained. Except for the confirmed cases reported above, all others were negative.
At present, all infected persons are concentrated in Yu'an District and Feixi County.
Experts have judged that the possibility of the large-scale spread of the epidemic has basically been ruled out.
