Traffic was heavy this Sunday on the roads of Brittany.

However, the traffic conditions were not optimal due to the heavy rains which fell intermittently in the region.

Sunday, a traffic accident particularly mobilized the emergency services.

At around 4.30 p.m., a collision involving three vehicles left five injured on the RN176 near Roz-sur-Couesnon (Ille-et-Vilaine).

To evacuate a seriously injured 40-year-old man, the Samu helicopter had to land on the four lanes, causing the closure of traffic between Dinan (Côtes d'Armor) and Pontorson (Manche) for one hour and forty-five.

The man was evacuated in absolute urgency to the CHU Pontchaillou in Rennes.

Two injured children

The other four injured, including two children aged 4 and 9, were more lightly affected.

They were transported to the Saint-Malo hospital, specify the firefighters, the first to arrive at the scene of the accident.

The collision occurred at kilometer point 5, not far from the exit towards Sains.
