Some of the above-mentioned areas are accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall, with an hourly rainfall of 30-50 mm, and the local area can reach more than 70 mm. The local area is accompanied by strong convective weather such as thunderstorms or hail.

Heavy rainfall in Jiangnan, South China and other places

The Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue yellow warnings of severe convective weather at 06:00 on May 16.

Specific forecast for the next three days

　　From 08:00 on May 16th to 08:00 on the 17th, there were heavy rains in parts of southeastern Anhui, north-central and southwestern Zhejiang, northwestern Fujian, north-central Jiangxi, southern Hunan, north-central Guangxi, and northwestern Guangxi. Among them, there were heavy rainstorms (100-130 mm) in the central part of Guangxi and other places (see Figure 2).

There are 4 to 6 winds in parts of central and eastern Inner Mongolia, Huanghuai and other places.
