The Sharjah Children's Reading Festival, organized by the Sharjah Book Authority, on the social media platform, is hosting a series of 10 specialized technical, scientific and artistic events that introduce participants to the most important sciences and knowledge of the age, during the activities of the 12th edition of the event, which is launched under the slogan “For Your Imagination”. From 19 to 29 May, at Expo Center Sharjah.

Throughout the event, the platform holds workshops led by a group of Arab and foreign experts and specialists. Visitors will have the opportunity to benefit from the "3D Models in Social Media" workshop, which will guide them on how to use design programs and lead them towards designing and creating their favorite characters.

The platform organizes a workshop "Adventures in the world of programming and electronic games", which provides attendees with a package of knowledge related to learning programming concepts and basics, through an interactive experience that introduces them to computer science, iterative loops in programming, conditional statements and variables, and others.

The language of the era

During the "Python programming language" workshop, participants learn basic programming concepts, such as data structures and types. They will also be provided with knowledge on how to create applications and design games. The platform also hosts a workshop on "developing a mobile application", which aims to introduce the science of creating mobile applications in general.
