In "Secret Archives" this Friday evening on France 3, Laurent Delahousse will make viewers discover, thanks to his voice, the intimacy of the idols of the song of the 1960s and 1970s. The show will offer unpublished images of stars like Johnny Hallyday , Dalida, Claude François, Sylvie Vartan or even Joe Dassin.

Television presenter Laurent Delahousse will lend his voice to the new program "Secret Archives" which will be broadcast this Friday evening on France 3 at 9:05 pm.

Through very little known or unpublished images, the program returns to the public and intimate history of personalities.

The first number, this Friday evening, will be devoted to the stars of the song.

And more precisely to the idols of the 1960s and 1970s on which the director, Laurent Allen-Caron, was able to take a new look.

"Tell another story, a more intimate story"

"We wanted to tell another story of the 1960s, another story of our idols, Johnny Hallyday, Sylvie Vartan, Joe Dassin, Dalida, Claude François", he explains on Friday on Europe 1. "We all know the story of these idols. But we, by looking at secret archives that we had never had, we wanted to shift our gaze and tell another story, a more intimate story. " The show will therefore aim to show how each of these idols has managed to "manage the notoriety that has fallen on them". "It was new in the 1960s, it was the beginning of show business," continues the director.

This long documentary - it lasts two hours - therefore shows behind the scenes of the lives of these artists.

Both behind the scenes of public life, when we see for example Johnny Hallyday getting ready before going on stage, and those of private life, with intimate moments.

"Discover these images which really slept in cupboards"

To succeed in unearthing these archives, the production of the program had to provide a long work of research.

A surprising and rewarding job.

"Very sincerely, at the beginning, when I started, I told myself that it was going to be impossible, that we had already seen all the images of the idols and that there would be nothing else to discover", says Laurent Allen-Caron.

"We were actually surprised!"

"It was a long time, we really investigated, it was several months of work. We launched tracks in all directions. Me, for example, I met a fan of Claude François who had kept dozens of hours of films. So we discovered images of Claude François that we had never seen. So it was a bit tedious, a bit long, but it was great and super profitable to discover these images which really slept in closets and in people's homes, ”says the director.

Dalida will also be in the spotlight of this program, filmed by the conductor of the orchestra who accompanied her on a tour.

Even the singer's brother, Orlando, was unaware of these images.
