In the summer of 2021, M6 will launch a new program on a subject that is increasingly present on television: the resolution of cold cases, these unsolved criminal cases.

But the channel stands out with a program that will appeal to the memory of viewers, in collaboration with the Ministries of the Interior and Justice.

Cold cases are no longer the preserve of fiction.

According to

Le Parisien

, M6 is preparing a new program,

Call for witnesses

, which will be broadcast live from this summer on the resolution of criminal cases whose investigation has been blocked for many years.

A subject which is currently on the rise on television, as evidenced by the recent launches of

At the end of the investigation, the end of the perfect crime

 on France 2 and of

Cold case: in search of the culprit

 on C8.

But M6 took a different approach.

Witness number 1

, M6 wants to mobilize viewers.

During the two-hour live broadcast of

Call for

Witnesses

,

viewers will thus be able to reach a toll-free number, in order to provide new elements likely to help solve still mysterious criminal cases.

At the end of the line, viewers will be listened to by eight members of the police, police and gendarmes.

Call for witnesses

is in fact carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Justice.
