At 11:00 on May 9, a forest fire broke out in the Lianhuafeng Forest District, Wanqiao Town, Dali City, Dali Prefecture, Yunnan Province.
At 13:00, Dali Prefecture's Forest Fire Fighting Detachment immediately launched a fire fighting emergency plan. The five squadrons directly under Dali, Dali, Eryuan, Yongping, and Yangbi, a total of 160 officers and soldiers rushed to the scene to fight the fire.
It is understood that the forest fires are mainly Yunnan pine and miscellaneous shrubs. The intensity of the fire is high. The topography of the fire site is steep and the mountains are high and steep, which brought great difficulties to the fire fighting.
Up to now, a total of 1,413 people, 1 helicopter and 21 water tankers have been put into fire fighting.
