The coronavirus vaccination campaign is extended from this Monday to people over 50, instead of May 15, the date initially planned by the government.

From Wednesday, the remaining doses will also be open to everyone "without age limit" and it will be possible to reserve the day before for the next day.

This Monday marks a new boost for vaccination against Covid-19.

Emmanuel Macron announced it last Thursday: the injection schedule is advanced.

Already last Friday, the record of 618,000 vaccinated had been reached in one day.

But the government wants to do even more to meet the target of 30 million vaccinated by mid-June.

For this, vaccination is extended from this Monday to over 50s, without conditions.

For those over 18, the calendar is also advanced.

From Wednesday, May 12, they will be able to reserve a slot that has remained vacant the day before for the next day.

This corresponds to 20,000 doses available each day according to the creators of the Chronodose application, which will identify these appointments to be entered.
