After receiving "bad news" last week, Rebel Wilson felt the need to publicly address her fertility issues.

“I got some bad news today and I didn't have anyone to share it… but I guess I'll tell someone.

To all women who struggle with fertility, I understand you.

The universe works in a mysterious way and sometimes nothing makes sense… But I hope that a light will shine through the dark clouds ”, she wrote in an Instagram post accompanied by a photo on which we can see the actress dressed in black and gazing at half mast walking on a cloud-covered waterfront.

A post that earned the

a plethora of supportive messages, so she then updated her post to thank everyone who wrote to her.

Rebel Wilson is affected by PCOS

If Rebel Wilson preferred not to give more details about the "bad news" that overwhelmed her, there is a good chance that it was related to the PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) from which she suffers.

Last year, the 41-year-old actress revealed to E!

News to be affected by this disease which has the effect of making ovulations irregular, or even preventing them altogether.

A syndrome which, of course, has consequences in terms of fertility but also in terms of weight gain.

“I have been overweight for almost twenty years.

I started to gain weight in my twenties.

(…) It's just a hormonal imbalance, you often gain a lot of weight and that's how it manifests itself in me, ”she explained.
