At about 10 o'clock on May 6, the Anti-fraud Center of the Public Security Bureau of Liaocheng City suddenly received an information push from the early warning system of the Anti-fraud Center of the Public Security Department of Shandong Province: Ms. Jiang, Qingping Town, Gaotang County, was at risk of being defrauded.

After receiving the police, Geng Yanyan, a policeman from the Anti-fraud Center of the Liaocheng Public Security Bureau, immediately called Ms. Jiang’s mobile phone repeatedly, but her phone was always busy.

Realizing that Ms. Jiang is likely to be answering a fraudulent call, Geng Yanyan used her household registration information to find the contact information of her relatives, but failed.

Geng Yanyan then contacted the Qingping Police Station, quickly informed the emergency situation, and assigned the police to attack quickly, striving to stop the scammer before he succeeded.

Lu Xutao, a policeman from Qingping Police Station, rushed out.

At 11:20 in the morning, Lu Xutao arrived at Ms. Jiang’s home and found that Ms. Jiang was talking with the "police officer" on the phone, holding the mobile phone and preparing to scan the code for payment.

"Fraud! Fraud! Don't scan the QR code to pay!" Lu Xutao rushed forward and shouted.

After being discouraged, Ms. Jiang was successfully prevented from transferring money.

Upon questioning, at 10 a.m., the victim Ms. Jiang suddenly received a call from the police of the Changsha City Public Security Bureau: "Your ID card was pretended to be fraudulent..." The "police officer" on the phone added WeChat and had a video conversation.
