(Fighting New Coronary Pneumonia) Hong Kong adds 5 confirmed local cases and returns to zero

  China News Service, Hong Kong, May 8. The Health Protection Center of the Department of Health of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government announced on the 8th that there were five newly confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia in Hong Kong, all of which were imported cases.

  The 5 newly confirmed cases involved 1 male and 4 females, aged between 1 and 40. All of them were imported cases. Among them, 4 arrived in Hong Kong from Indonesia and 1 arrived in Hong Kong from Spain.

  The local cases have returned to zero again.

The Centre for Health Protection stated that a total of 74 new cases have been reported in the past 14 days, including 15 local cases, of which the origin of one is unknown.

A total of 11,807 cases have been reported in Hong Kong so far, including 11,806 confirmed cases and 1 suspected case.
