The most famous of the lone cowboys should soon arrive on our screens in a new form, that of a series.

It is the host and actor Michaël Youn who will produce this series, whose project is only in its infancy, but should mobilize the entire universe of the cowboy and his faithful steed Jolly Jumper.

After the cartoons and the film with Jean Dujardin, the comic book cowboy Lucky Luke will have the right to his own series.

It will be co-created and directed by TV host and actor Michaël Youn, who will also be an artistic producer.

It is not yet known whether Michaël Youn will play in the series, which is only at the draft stage for the moment.

The actor appeared in the 2009 film adaptation, where he played Billy the kid.

All the Lucky Luke universe available

Two production companies are already involved in this serial project: Un pour Tous Productions and Federation Entertainment.

The two companies have teamed up to purchase the rights to adapt all 46 Lucky Luke comics.

This acquisition allows them to write a scenario inspired by each of the cowboy's intrigues and to reveal all the characters who revolve around Lucky Luke: the Dalton, Rantanplan, Ma Dalton, Calamity Jane, Billy the kid and the other.

The future series on Lucky Luke does not yet have a broadcaster, nor a broadcast date.
