In the early morning of May 5, four men infiltrated a school in Tseung Kwan O, Hong Kong in an attempt to carry out theft. They were discovered by security and called the police.

The police arrived at the scene to investigate and searched the home of the person involved. They found a group of items suspected of being "Hong Kong Independence" in the house. They arrested the four men. After investigation, they were found to be members of a "Hong Kong Independence" student organization.

The police subsequently arrested three other members of the organization suspected of being involved in the case.

  A total of 7 people were arrested in this case, all suspected of violating the National Security Law.
