Forty-two new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Nagasaki Prefecture.
A total of 2,305 people were confirmed to be infected in Nagasaki Prefecture, excluding the crew of the cruise ship moored at Nagasaki Port.
Nagasaki City also announced that one of the city's 80s, who had been hospitalized for confirmation of infection, died on the 5th.
The number of infected people who died in Nagasaki Prefecture is now 43.
