Donald Trump was ported from Twitter, and shut down from Facebook and Youtube after the storming of the Capitol.

Since then, he has spoken out via press releases, which will now be published via the new website.

Users will be able to like posts and share them via their Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Comes shortly to Facebook's message

The launch comes shortly before Facebook will announce whether the former president will be suspended permanently or not.

A decision is expected on Wednesday 5 May.

If he is allowed to return, it will take seven days before his account is reactivated.

Youtube has said that they reactivate his account when the risk of "real violence" decreases.

Twitter, where Trump has 88 million followers, has ported him permanently.

A spokesman told the BBC that content shared on Twitter from Trump's new website "is generally allowed as long as the material does not violate Twitter's regulations."

More is expected

Jason Miller, an adviser to Trump, has previously signaled that the president should launch his own social media, and now says that the website is not everything but that there will be more, according to the BBC.
