In a report published this Tuesday, May 4, the Defender of Rights, Claire Hédon, denounces the degradation of the fundamental rights of the elderly living in nursing homes.

In six years, out of 900 complaints contesting medico-social support, 80% concern these establishments.

The Covid-19 crisis has only worsened the situation, as shown by the 200 appeals received this year.

To overcome this failure, 64 recommendations are made.

The details of this report with Claire Hédon.
