On May 3, local time, the Greek catering industry restarted its outdoor business after being away from the market for 6 months.

A large number of people took advantage of the Easter holiday to go out to enjoy the "lost and recovered" dining pleasure.

In the early morning of the 3rd, restaurants and cafes in and around the center of Athens set up their seats outdoors in accordance with the epidemic prevention regulations, preparing to welcome the first batch of customers.

In Thessaloniki, the head of the local catering industry association stated that the restaurant's operations on the first day of reopening were very good, with a reservation rate of about 50% on the 3rd and 80% on the 4th.

The Greek Minister of Investment and Development Georgia Diss called on all catering companies to strictly abide by the hygiene regulations. After the tourism season begins on May 15 and the public is allowed to travel freely without declaration, restaurants and coffee shops may conditionally extend their business hours.

Since May 3, the curfew will start at 23:00 to 5 am the next day, and the restaurant will close at 22:45.
