Asmahan Tawfiq denies obtaining Kuwaiti citizenship
Actress Asmahan Tawfiq, who lives in Kuwait, denied having Kuwaiti citizenship, and said in one of the television programs: "Kuwait is my home ... with a nationality or not."
She explained, "Kuwait is in my heart, just as I carry Palestine in my heart ... and also because I hold the Egyptian nationality, it is also in my heart ... Jordan is also my country because I hold the Jordanian nationality."
Asmahan criticized the new generation of artists, explaining that they refuse to listen to the advice of any artist of the old generation, as well as their arrogance simply because of the success of one or more work.
Actress Asmahan Tawfiq is of Palestinian origin. She entered the artistic field at the age of seventeen, where she started with the Arab Theater Company in Kuwait, then moved to the Arab Gulf Theater Company.
