No reimbursement of subscribers

Admittedly, Canal + had ended up admitting his guilt and paying a fine of 3 to 5 million euros last year.

The group was indeed sentenced in July 2020 for "forced sale".

But the TV group refused to take the initiative to reimburse subscribers affected by its 2017 price hike. An increase described as wild by the UFC-Que Choisir association.

The latter therefore initiates a group action to demand, on behalf of the aggrieved subscribers, the reimbursement of sums illegally billed by the channel.

According to the association, the total amount of these reimbursements could reach up to 60 million euros.
