Auroville is a city founded in 1968 in the far south of India, on the principles laid down by a Frenchwoman and an Indian intellectual.
These ideals are based on the collectivization of land, complete equality of income and the gradual abandonment of money to found a new form of society.
More than 50 years later, these principles still live on, and extensive projects are born, among others in the field of sustainable development.
