Regarding his son’s journey with illness, he said: “My son Abdullah was born in a hospital in Al-Ain, and after the sixth year of his life, health symptoms related to the kidneys began to appear. So, I transferred him to a specialized hospital in Dubai, where medication was dispensed for him for three years, and every two months he was admitted to the hospital for a medical review, after which the doctors decided to undergo dialysis twice a week, and a charity was responsible for the expenses at Al Jalila Children's Specialty Hospital.

He continued: “The hospital administration informed me that Abdullah would be transplanted to him by including his name among those included in the initiative (Your Donation is a Life), which made us happy, and Abdullah’s happiness was overwhelming, as my children underwent a match test in order to donate a kidney to him, and he was the only person who matched him. His brother Salem, who was enthusiastic to donate on his own, and the operation was successful, and Abdullah regained his normal life.

He added: “I have 10 children, the youngest of whom is Abdullah, and unfortunately he was not able to enter the school permanently, and he did not receive his education because I was unable to provide the tuition fees. Currently, Abdullah and his brothers dream of continuing their studies. ”

To any other place, and after transplantation, he has no restrictions preventing him from practicing his life in a normal way. ” He continued: “Abdullah underwent primary care in the pediatric intensive care unit at Al Jalila Hospital, and responded to immunosuppressive drugs well without problems, and then the operation began, and his kidneys were producing three liters of urine, and blood was examined after the transplant, and after three days Abdullah was transferred to The surgical department, where he was taken care of after the operation, and his family were educated in home care methods, and there were no complications, and he would be discharged from the hospital in good condition and with normal kidney functions. He added:"The surgery took three hours, and it was complicated because an adult kidney was transplanted into a young child, in addition to the operation of ligation of small vessels, which is very important to supply the new kidney with blood."
