In Kushiro-cho, Hokkaido, salmon and Toxiraz, which can be caught from spring to summer, were landed for the first time.

Toxiraz is a salmon that can be caught from spring to summer.

The season for salmon is autumn, but it is said that this name was given to mean "I don't know the time."

Compared to autumn salmon that come back for spawning, it has a better fat paste, so it is traded at a high price as a high-class food.

At the Konbumori fishing port in Kushiro-cho, seven fishing boats left on the morning of the 26th and landed the first Toxiraz by set net fishing.

The landing on the 26th was still small, about 30 animals, but the large one was about 4 kg.

It means that it was traded at about 4300 yen per kilo in the subsequent auction.

Yoshimi Kawarada, a fisherman, said, "Fishing will reach its peak in June, and if the price goes down, it will be easier for everyone to get it."

Set net fishing for Toxiraz off the east coast of Hokkaido is scheduled to continue until early August.
