The brother of the Jordanian artist, Mutaib Al-Saqqar, denies his suicide: he fell from the hospital window

The head of the Jordanian Artists Syndicate, Hussein Al-Khatib, has ruled out the singer Mutab Al-Saqqar's suicide by throwing himself from the window of the hospital in which he was recently treated.

Al-Khatib confirmed to "Ammon" news agency that the artist's brother, Ibrahim Al-Saqqar, told him that Mutab had fallen from the room window in a moment of loss of balance due to the treatments he was taking, and that the bed was near the window.

Ibrahim added that the bed was high at the level of the window and close to it, and he was tired, perhaps trying to breathe air and he fell from it.

Hussein Al-Khatib ruled out the story of Al-Saqqar's suicide by throwing himself from the window, pointing out that "a tired person who loves life and has no reason to do so, as he was receiving treatment with good psychology." .

Al-Khatib explained that the security services' investigations are still continuing, and the truth will eventually be revealed.

 Yesterday, the Jordanian Minister of Culture, Ali Al-Ayed, mourned the Jordanian singer and artist, Mutaib Al-Saqqar, expressing "the great loss of the departure of a Jordanian artistic community that gave a lot to the national and heritage song, during a distinguished and rich journey."

He offered the Ministry of Culture's condolences to the family of the deceased and to his colleagues in the Jordanian Artists Syndicate, recalling “his great role in the Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts, which praised a lot for its runways for the homeland, its holidays and its Hashemite leadership, just as he excelled in the rural and sentimental song that reminds us of the pioneering artists, as well as the noble and patriotic causes that arose. With his wonderful voice, which left us today and is still in his prime. ”

The artist, Al-Saqqar, is one of the artists who preserved their heritage and patriotic color in a special color known to him, especially since the early nineties, when his name shone after his song "Hala Ya Wasit for the House".

The Jordanian artist had been suffering from illness for a long time, and he published a video clip of him last February on a hospital bed, after one of his feet was amputated due to the repercussions of diabetes.
