Jamel G., a 36-year-old delivery driver, stabbed an Interior Ministry official, Stéphanie M., in the throat on Friday in the entrance to the Rambouillet police station (Yvelines) where she worked in the secretariat.

The assailant was then shot dead by a police officer.
