China News Service, April 25. According to the official Weibo news of Yiyang County, Luoyang City, Henan Province, at about 1:25 am on April 25, the fourth span of the Luohe Pedestrian Bridge in Yiyang Lingshan was under construction due to excessive water conditions. The full house frame was washed away, causing the collapse of the two tie beams on the fourth span and the deformation of the steel structure.

Official bulletin

At around 19:00 on the 24th, the water level of the Luohe River, where the Lingshan Luohe Pedestrian Bridge is located, suddenly rose; at around 22:30, the water level reached its highest value, which was about 2 meters higher than the original normal water level.

At 0 o'clock in the morning, Yiyang Hydrological Station corrected the measured flow rate to 395m3/s.

It is understood that there has not been a similar flood in the Luohe during the same period.

The project is a steel tube concrete arch bridge.

According to the design, the upper structure is a steel tube concrete through arch bridge, and the bridge deck is connected by suspenders. At present, only the steel tube arch structure (without concrete pouring in the steel tube arch) and the tie beams have been completed. The suspenders are not installed. The bridge The structural stress conditions that did not meet the design requirements, due to the excessive flood peak, caused the tie beam to break after the fourth span full structure was destroyed.

The dangerous situation caused no casualties.

According to the calculations of the hydrological station, the water volume of the Luohe section in Yiyang has dropped to 260m3/s. Yiyang County Water Environment Company is organizing personnel to actively deal with it. The next step is to organize experts to demonstrate the bridge restoration construction plan.
