In an attempt to support restaurants affected by the new Corona, an event was held in the shopping district of Morioka City to open a store on the street that became a pedestrian paradise and sell take-out food such as lunch boxes.

Odori Shopping Street in the center of Morioka City is a "bento paradise" that sells bento boxes and delicatessen items on Sundays and public holidays in order to support restaurants whose sales are declining with the new corona. We started an event called "Last year".

The first event of this year was a pedestrianized street with 31 restaurants, taverns, cake shops, etc. lined up for about 300 meters.

It was raining occasionally on the 25th, but there was a store where people could line up before the daytime sale, so I was buying lunch boxes, side dishes, and sweets that my family visited.

A man in his thirties in Morioka said, "I think it's great because you can enjoy various shops in one place. I want to drop more and more money to support restaurants."

Sales fell by 60 to 70% due to the corona virus, and Masami Saito, the manager of the izakaya that opened for the first time this time, said, "I would be grateful if you could get to know your store at this event and come if the infection subsides."

The event will be held once a month from April to October, when it becomes a pedestrian paradise.
