Sweden: Skelleftea, the small town in Lapland that has become the capital of electric batteries

Since the discovery of abundant amounts of gold in Lapland a century ago, not much had happened.

But that was without counting the decision by Northvolt to build a giant battery factory in the small town of Skelleftea, for the electric car market, with over 3,000 employees in the long term.

Since then, the city has become a tower of Babel, and everything has changed in scale.
