Former “Lindenstrasse” colleagues of Willi Herren have said goodbye to the dead actor in an obituary notice.

On Saturday there was a text in several Cologne newspapers that was headed “We will never forget you!”.

Below: the name of Willi Herren and the sentence "Take care ...".

The obituary notice was signed by "Lindenstrasse" inventor Hans W. Geißendörfer (80) and with "your friends from" Lindenstrasse "".

Herren had played for many years in the ARD series, which ran from 1985 to 2020.

Last Tuesday, the actor, who was most recently known from various reality formats and as a Ballermann singer, was found dead in his apartment in Cologne.

Herren was only 45 years old.

An autopsy did not reveal any evidence of external violence.

There were also reactions in the media industry.

The broadcaster Sat.1 will not show the remaining episodes of the reality show "Promis unter Palmen", which also featured men.

The private broadcaster announced this on Tuesday upon request.

"We will try to find a worthy conclusion," it said.

“Our thoughts are with his family and friends.” Willi Herren was seen in a variety of reality formats - most recently as a candidate for the Sat.1 show.

Drug problems with Willi Herren

Herren became known through the ARD series "Lindenstrasse".

After that he also took part in numerous reality formats on German television.

Men with alcohol and drug problems repeatedly made headlines and went into rehab several times.

In March, Herren and his wife Jasmin separated, they had been married since 2018 and also worked together in reality formats such as “Summer House of the Stars”.

Jasmin's manager told RTL: "Jasmin Herren is totally in shock, needs medical attention and is not at all able to comment on the death of her husband." On Wednesday, the widow published a message on Instagram.

"... And a part of me goes with you. Your wife forever" could be read there, among other things.
