[Explanation] In a prosperous commercial street in Taiyuan, Shanxi, a Hong Kong-style tea restaurant that "comes out" from a Hong Kong movie is eye-catching. "Post-85" Hong Kong youth Su Zishuo is the operator of this restaurant.

In 2015, he left Hong Kong all the way to the north and opened a store in the Mainland to convey Hong Kong culture.

Cleaning, preparing ingredients, receiving guests... On April 23, Su Zishuo was busy in the store as usual.

The store is small, with green and white signboards, retro-printed floor tiles, old train carriage-like pickup seats, and authentic Hong Kong delicacies such as milk tea, pineapple butter, curry fish balls, etc., full of Hong Kong flavor.

De Ru is my grandpa's name.

In the 1950s, they had no ideas and were very poor. At that time, they opened a tea restaurant to support their family.

In our generation, I think it is to bring an old brand to the mainland to let friends in the mainland experience the unique culture of Hong Kong.

[Explanation] In 1954, Su Zishuo's grandfather set up a food stall on the side of the road.

Until the 1980s, the parents rented the shop next to the stall and became a tea restaurant.

After more than 60 years of inheritance and persistence, "De Ru" has become a local "time-honored" tea restaurant in Hong Kong, attracting many tourists to "check in".

Thanks to Hong Kong (last century) movies in the 1990s. In addition to making movies, Hong Kong’s predecessors put a lot of Hong Kong’s unique culture in movies and songs.

Even if you had never been to a tea restaurant or any restaurant in Hong Kong at that time, you would have heard of it.

(Customer) Come to our restaurant to have a bite of Hong Kong meal and listen to Cantonese songs, which is actually a feeling.

[Explanation] In 2015, Su Zishuo, who was engaged in advertising work in Hong Kong, was optimistic about the economic development of the Mainland and decided to leave his job to start a business in the Mainland, and chose Taiyuan, which has a low cost investment and a small number of Hong Kong-style tea restaurants.

The tea restaurant is equivalent to the noodle restaurant in Taiyuan. It is a simple bite, not expensive, and it tastes good after eating.

This is the status of the tea restaurant and its value of existence.

[Explanation] Nowadays, Su Zishuo has adapted to life here.

He has an indissoluble bond with Taiyuan. In addition to his career, he also gained love here.

My fiancée is from Yuncheng, Shanxi, and I am a Hongkonger. The difference is more than 2,000 kilometers. I think it is also a fate, which I have never thought about since I was a child.

I hope that there is a Deru tea restaurant in every city, so that more friends can have a taste of what a tea restaurant in Hong Kong is like.
