The Chinese-born American director, Chloe Gao, expressed her excitement about the Oscars scheduled for tomorrow, after her movie "Nomadland" won the title of best film in the "Spirit Awards" awards.

The film is directly inspired by a book of the same name published in 2017 by American journalist Jessica Broder, after she accompanied the gray-haired travelers who roam the United States in their small trailers, and live between deserts and modest jobs, but they are free.

Most of the actors in Chloe Gao are amateurs who play their own personalities, while the professional Oscar-winning actress Frances McDormand, who initiated and produced the project, plays the main character, Fern.

The "Spirit Awards" awards, which are organized hypothetically this year due to "Covid-19", are the penultimate station in the Hollywood Awards, right up to the Oscars that will be organized in Los Angeles.

"We have a lot of friends who have been nominated this year, and are excited to see them," Gao said. "There are also some surprising guests!"

And when one of the jury members said that these mysterious guests might be the real characters represented in the film, Gao replied: “I can't wait to embrace them.

I need to hug someone! ”

As she received her award, Gao thanked the "independent film community," saying, "We wouldn't be here without you."

Gao's next movie is "Eternals", which is part of the "Marvel" superhero movie series, which made huge profits.

Most of the actors in Chloe Gao are amateurs who play their own characters.
